A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

What matters the most to you?

This is what matters most to me: my two children, my husband, my parents, my brother, and my closet friends.

Without knowing you personally, I am willing to bet that what matters most to you is exactly the same – the relationships with the people you love.

At Luna & Stella we make jewelry, but our brand is not just about jewelry.  It’s about who our jewelry represents

It’s about the relationships, the connections to the people closest to us.

Welcome to Luna & Stella.

Who are your moon & stars?

with gratitude,

Suzanne Ellis Wernevi, April 12, 2017, our 8th Anniversary

ABOUT LUNA & STELLA

Luna & Stella means “moon and star” in Italian. Like the relationship between moon and star, our modern birthstone jewelry symbolizes the connections between ourselves and those we love. Based in Providence, Rhode Island—the jewelry capital of the United States—our family-run business was founded in 2009 with the goal of blending great jewelry design with thoughtful meaning.

We believe relationships – between parents, grandparents, children, partners, siblings, and friends – are what life is all about.   Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted in sterling silver or 14K gold, set with genuine birthstones representing your loved ones, and carefully wrapped in our complimentary Italian gift box. Our jewelry has been featured on The Today Show and ABC News, and in US Weekly, Esquire, Real Simple, and Oprah, among others.  Our products are sold on our website, www.lunaandstella.com and select retailers, and most items ship within 2-3 days.

WHO WE ARE

Luna & Stella is a family affair.  Founder Suzanne Ellis Wernevi, building on years of merchandising and product development experience in roles at J.Crew, Bally, RedEnvelope, and Victoria’s Secret, leads design.  Husband Erik consults on strategy, brainstorms inexecutable marketing ideas, and packs boxes when needed.  Suzanne’s mom, Caroline Ellis, writes the questionably business-related but always interesting (as evidenced by its recent nomination for Best Blog in New England) Suzanne’s Mom’s Blog.  The baby in the picture below is now 5 and has a sister who is 2.  Time for a new family photo!
